Mike has a passion for giving back to the community and has been recognized by the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) for his service to the community with the prestigious John E. Wolf Community Service Award. Charitable giving forms an integral part of Mike’s business model and he donates to each client’s charity of choice after closing. Mike also links philanthropy to his passion for athletic competition, specifically Ironman triathlon events. In a recent Ironman, he guided a blind triathlete through the competition (a 140.6 mile race), raising more than $25,000 for the C-Different Foundation and Cherish Our Children International. Mike has also raised more than $110,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Mike grew up in the Southampton/Museum District area and graduated from James Madison University in Virginia where he competed as a Division 1 swimmer. He now resides in the River Oaks area with his partner and two children.
